Founded on Prof. Waris Mir's Vision
Prof. Waris Mir (1938-1987) — father of renowned journalist Hamid Mir — was a legendary academic, writer, and journalist who believed that true learning happens when curiosity is nurtured, not suppressed. He championed the right to education for every child and advocated for teaching methods that sparked joy and wonder.
Though Prof. Mir passed away in 1987, his spirit lives on in everything we do. In 2025, our Directors Huma Mir and Zoya Mir opened London School — Prof. Waris Mir Campus in Lahore to carry his legacy forward — creating a generation of confident, kind, and curious learners.
